INGREDIENTS
| 1/2 | c | Butter or margarine |
| 1/4 | c | Granulated sugar |
| 8 | oz | Package dates; chopped |
| 2 1/2 | c | Crispy rice cereal |
| 1 | c | Chopped pecans |
| Flaked coconut or powdered sugar |
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine butter, sugar, and dates in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cook; stirring constantly for 3 minutes. 2. Stir in cereal and pecans. Cool to touch. Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in coconut or powdered sugar.
