INGREDIENTS

200 g Split lentils
2 ts Fresh ginger
2 ts Green chilli; chopped
2 ts Turmeric
100 g Kidney beans; pre-soaked in water
; for 30 minutes)
1 tb Ghee or white butter
1 ts Salt
1 lg Red onion; chopped
1/2 ts Garam masala
1 tb Fresh coriander; chopped
4 tb Cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Place the lentils in a pan of hot water with half the ginger and chilli and
simmer for 25 minutes.
Add the kidney beans, butter and salt to the lentils.
Put the red onion in a pan of hot oil with the other half of the ginger and
the chilli and fry for 5 minutes.
Add the garam masala and turmeric to the onion, stir well and mix into the
lentils.
Add the cream and coriander and serve.
