24 | oz | Semi-sweet chocolate baking |
chips -plus- | ||
1 | 3-ounce cake of paraffin | |
OR- | ||
24 ounces of melting | ||
chocolate in which case | ||
paraffin should be | ||
omitted. |
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix butter and milk. With spoon or hands, work in sugar and vanilla. Divide dough into 4 portions. Flavor and add desired ingredients. Chill. Form dough into balls or roll into logs. Chill again. In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt chocolate chips with paraffin (or melt the melting chocolate). Stir well. With a skewer, dip balls into chocolate mixture. Let drip, then place on waxed paper to harden. Decorate if desired. Chill. Makes 200 pieces of candy.
