INGREDIENTS
| 1/4 | lb | Butter; softened |
| 1 1/2 | c | Flour |
| 1/3 | lb | Very sharp cheese; grated |
| 1 | ts | Salt |
| 1/2 | ts | Red pepper |
| 2 | Dozen dates | |
| 2 | Dozen pecan halves |
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix butter, flour, cheese, salt and pepper and form into a dough. Roll out and cut with a biscuit cutter. Push pecan halves inside dates, then wrap dough circles around dates, covering completely.
