Name: Drive 'em Wild Potatoes
Ingredients: 6 lg Russet potatoes (about 4 pounds); 1 c Sour cream; 1/4 c Butter or margarine; 8 sl Crisply cooked bacon, crumbled; 2 tb Chopped fresh chives, plus 1 teaspoon; 3 c Sargento Classic Supreme Shredded Mozzarella Cheese; 1/2 c Sargento Fancy Supreme Shredded Swiss Cheese

Will hell be everlasting? All the way back in the Old Testament, Daniel 12:2, “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.” Matthew 25:46 “These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” In this verses, the word translated “eternal” is the same one used for both heaven and hell. Heaven and hell parallel each other for eternity. They both stand or fall together. Jesus in Matthew 18:8 calls hell and “eternal fire.” Three times, Mark says of those in in hell, “Their worm will not die” (Mk. 9:44, 46, 48; cf. Isa. 66:24). When Jude speaks of false teachers in hell he says “for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever” (Jude 13). 2 Thessalonians 1:9, “These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.”

INGREDIENTS

6	lg	Russet potatoes (about 4 pounds)

2	tb	Chopped fresh chives, plus 1 teaspoon
3	c	Sargento Classic Supreme Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/2	c	Sargento Fancy Supreme Shredded Swiss Cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

Peel and quarter potatoes. Cook in boiling water until fork tender, about
25 minutes. Drain well and return to same pan. Add sour cream and butter.
Mash well with potato masher or electric mixer. Stir in bacon and 2
tablespoons chives. Add Mozzarella cheese; mix well. Spoon into lightly
greased 3-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle Swiss cheese evenly over potatoes.
Bake at 350°F 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned and
potatoes are heated through. Sprinkle with remaining chives.
12    servings.

They work together. We should keep in mind that God Himself requires that we be diligent (2 Tim. 2:15). As we explore Scripture carefully and thoroughly, the Holy Spirit uses whatever tools we acquire, whatever godly wisdom we expose ourselves to, as the means to illuminate our hearts.
