INGREDIENTS

3/4 c Butter
1 c Self-rising flour
3/4 c Sugar
3/4 c Milk, I used 1%
2 c Fruit, * see note

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat oven to 350 F. Place butter in baking dish (I think I used a 1.5 qt
round pyrex dish), 8"x8" square should work fine, and place in oven to
melt. While butter is melting, sift together dry ingredients. Add half of
the milk to the dry ingredients and stir, then add the remaining milk and
stir. Remove dish from oven when butter is melted and pour batter into
dish. Dump fruit into center of the dish - DO NOT STIR!!! Place dish back
in oven and bake at 350 F for 30 - 40 minutes (until toothpick inserted in
center comes out clean).

251g Carbohydrate; 393mg Cholesterol; 3067mg Sodium
NOTES : I have only used peaches and blackberries, but I imagine any fruit
would work fine. The fruit can be fresh or canned (in its own juices) and
drained.
