Ingredients: 1 (3-4 lb) chuck roast (up to); 6 Potatoes; quartered (up to); 6 Carrots; 1 cn Cream of mushroom soup; 1 pk Lipton onion soup mix

Parenting needs to move from simply providing for physical needs like food, shelter, and clothing and for the emotional and social well-being of children to providing for the nurture of their souls, for their spiritual well-being. Parenting needs to move from simply protecting them from bad people and physical harm to protecting them from the Evil One and from a world view that leaves God out. Parenting needs to move from focusing primarily on their behavior to focusing primarily on their heart. Parenting needs to move from merely telling them what they should do to showing them how through the parents' own example.

INGREDIENTS

1		(3-4 lb) chuck roast (up to)
6		Potatoes; quartered (up to)
6		Carrots
1	cn	Cream of mushroom soup
1	pk	Lipton onion soup mix

INSTRUCTIONS

Season roast and place in large roasting pan. Cut up carrots and potatoes
and place around roast. Sprinkle package of dry soup mix on top. Heat cream
of mushroom soup with water. Pour over the top. Cover with foil and bake in
350 degree oven until meat is tender. Serves 6 to 8.
Any kind of vegetables may be used. If extra gravy is required use 2 cans
mushroom soup.

One of the worst things a couple can do is work to change one another into each other's likeness. They are to be changed, rather, into Christ's likeness. The more a couple works at love and becoming one, the more differences will be accepted and blended to enhance the marriage.
