Easy Easy Lentil/Split Pea Soup (relatively fat free)
Put water and bouillon cubes in a pot on the stove and boil. Add lentils
and split peas when boiling. Add the remaining ingredients and cook until
vegetables are soft (about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes). It is really good, and
so easy. It comes out a little thick, so if you want something more
"soupy", just add more water.
I have played around with the ingredients to this recipe, and add other
things that are on hand (you could use ham instead of chicken). It has
always turned out good.
