God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater, He sendeth more strength as our labors increase; to added afflictions He addeth His mercy, to multiplied trials He multiplies peace. When we have exhausted our store of endurance, when our strength has failed ere the day is half done, when we reach the end of our hoarded resources our Father’s full giving is only begun. His love has no limits, His grace has no measure, His power no boundary known unto men; for out of His infinite riches in Jesus He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

In a large saucepan combine the milk, cream and vanilla essence and bring
to the boil. Whisk together the egg yolks and sugar. Add the cream
mixture in a stream while whisking, then transfer the custard to a
saucepan. Cook the custard over moderate heat, stirring constantly with a
wooden spoon until it coats the back of the spoon. Strain through a fine
sieve. Allow the custard to cool and stir in 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, brandy
and rum, then chill the custard, covered, overnight. Stir in the additional
nutmeg and freeze the custard in an ice-cream maker, according to the
manufacturer's instructions. Add combined fruit, almonds and chocolate,
