God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
But it is doubtless true, and evident from these Scriptures, that the essence of all true religion lies in holy love; and that in this divine affection, and an habitual disposition to it, and that light which is the foundation of it, and those things which are the fruits of it, consists the whole of religion.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make the dough in a processor if you have one. Use steel blade. Put
the dry ingredients the bowl and mix a little. Add shortening, lard and
butter. Process this all until mixed well with the flour. 2. With machine
still on, add eggs and enough water to let the dough bind., Texture should
be like pie dough. (If you don't have a food processor then just mix by
hand and knead a few minutes after you've added the liquids). 3. Let dough
chill in fridge for 1/2 hour. 4. Now cut the dough into 6 pieces and shape
them into balls. Roll the balls into 6" circles., Put about 4 tablespoons
of filling in the center, moisten the edges, fold them over and seal. 5.
With a fork or something, prick the tops to let the steam escape. 6. Bake
in a 350 degree oven until lightly browned. That's the dough.....the
filling is anything want to put in. I've had them in Mexico with nothing
but potatoes, carrots and chiles. Wonderful! Love Louise.
