Don't know if this fits exactly into the eating catagory but - I keep a
little 1 pint bottle filled with vodka and about 10 dried habs to make my
traditional "Eye Opener". I normally fix this before any early morning get
together. Nice way to start the day.
Put it all in a blender and whiz to desired thickness. Chill. Add more
plain vodka if wanted. Garnish with green onion or celery. For the real
ChileHeads - stick a fresh hab on a toothpick and garnish with that. You
can put a few of the soaked habs in the blender for a bit of texture. (I
also keep a bottle of Dave's Insanity around for those who say it's not hot
enough) Hazy
