INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium saucepan, combine the wine, lemon juice, sugar, cloves, and
cinnamon; bring to a boil over high heat. Boil for 10 to 12 minutes, or
until a light syrup forms. REMOVE THE CLOVES AND CINNAMON STICK. Add the
strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or
until the berries begin to release liquid. Remove from the heat and stir in
the vanilla. Serve warm, or cover and chill until ready to serve.
NOTE: Frozen berries will work well in this, too. It's great for drizzling
over shortbread cookies, pound cake, or ice cream for a "berry" delicious
dessert sensation!
