Thick slices bread; cut into 6 triangles |

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat 1/2 inch cooking oil to 325°. Preheat oven to 400°. Beat eggs, cream
andsalt. Dip bread into batter. Allow batter to soak in. Fry bread until
brown. Turn and fry until brown. Transfer to baking sheet. Bake 3 to 5
minutes until puffed. Drain. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve hot.
Yield: 6 servings.
