INSTRUCTIONS
CAKE
FROSTING
CAKE: Combine oil, sugar and eggs; mix well. Sift together flour, salt and
baking soda. Add to mixture. Add vanilla and fold in nuts and apples.
Grease and flour pan(s). Can be baked in a bundt or tube pan at 350 degrees
for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, a 13x9x2 pan at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes, 3
8-inch cake pans at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or 2 9x5x3-1/2-inch loaf
pans at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. FROSTING: Mix all ingredients,
except marshmallows, in pan and boil for about 4 minutes. Add marshmallows
and stir until melted. Beat until thick enough to spread.
