INGREDIENTS

1 pk (3 oz.) lemon flavor gelatin
1 1/2 c Hot applesauce
3/4 c Pineapple juice
1/4 c Sugar
1 tb L;emon juice
1/8 ts Salt
1/8 ts Nutmeg
1/8 ts Cinnamon
1 Egg white; stiffly beaten
1/2 Crushed pineapple; drained

INSTRUCTIONS

Dissolve gelatin in hot applesauce. Add pineapple juice, sugar,lemon juice,
salt,and spices. Fold in egg white and pineapple. Spoon into sherbet dishes
and refrigerate until set. Makes 8 servings. Thie recipe came from an older
lady in Portland, Oregon in 1955, hence the vernacular.
