INSTRUCTIONS
/4 c maraschino cherries, chopped
add sugar and grated chocolate to milk in a saucepan and cook until
chocolate is melted and mixture is slightly thick. Chill. Whip the cream
until thick but not stiff, add chocolate mixture, vanilla, nuts, and
raisins and dates which have been "plumped" by cooking in a small amount of
water which is allowed to evaporate.
Freeze at the coldest temperature for 1 1/2 hours, then reduce cold for
remainder of freezing period.
