INSTRUCTIONS
Put dried fruit into slow-cooking pot. Pour in water. Stir in sugar,
honey, lemon peel, and spies. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours. Turn
control to high. Mix cornstarch in small amount of water; stir into fruit
mixture. Cook on high for 10 minutes or until thickened. Add Cointreau.
Serve warm or chilled. May be served as fruit compote or as a topping for
ice cream.
