INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Use 1 tablespoon butter to grease a shallow 12 to 14inch quiche dish. Melt
the 6 tablespoons butter, browning lightly. Layer prunes in pattern on
quiche dish. Mix flour, sugar, eggs and melted brown butter in a mixing
bowl. Add the 2 tablespoons of reserved prune soaking liquid. Stir in milk
to form a thin batter. Pour batter over prunes and bake in oven 35 to 40
minutes, until inserted knife exits cleanly. Serve warm from dish.
