INSTRUCTIONS
Mix shortening, sugar, and molasses thoroughly. Stir in water. Blend all
dry ingredients. Blend all together. Chill. Heat oven to 350. Roll dough to
1/4" thick. Cut into shapes. Place far apart on a lightly greased cookie
sheet. Bake 10-12 mins. (Half the time if you want them soft) Ice when
cool.
Makes 2 1/2 doz.
