INSTRUCTIONS
In a large bowl, combine the first 8 ingredients; mix well. In a saucepan,
cook, oil, brown sugar, honey, water and vanilla until sugar is dissolved.
Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Spoon into a greased 13x9x2" baking
pan. Bake at 275 F. for one hour or until golden, stirring every 15
minutes. Cool completely. Stir in raisins or apricots. Yield: about 9 cups.

for ice cream or fruit. It makes a welcome gift," says Maxine Smith of
Owanka, South Dakota. She suggests packing it in a tin or jar decked with a
festive bow.
