INSTRUCTIONS
These recipes that follow are from a Lancaster, PA Amish cookbook. They are
very basic and I think I would doctor them up, myself - they lend
themselves to experimentation. Add or subtract anything your family
prefers. All recipes contributed LANCASTER COUNTY AMISH COOKBOOK.
Combine meat, bread crumbs, egg and salt. Mix lightly. Shape into 18
meatballs, brown in small amount of oil. Drain. Add water, rice, carrots,
green peper and onion. Cover and simmer 25 minutes. Add cheese. Heat until
cheese melts.
