INSTRUCTIONS
CAKE: Heat oven to 350F. Grease 8-inch round pan. In large bowl,
combine baking mix, oats, 3/4 cup apple sauce, sugar, cinnamon, egg,
vanilla and margarine. Stir vigorously for 1 minute; spread into
prepared pan. Bake at 350F for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick
inserted in center comes out clean. Immediately spread with remaining
apple sauce; sprinkle with Topping. Broil, 5 inches from heat source,
3 minutes or until golden. Serve warm or cool. *TOPPING: Combine
coconut, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and softened margarine. Notes:
Pantry: Mott's Natural Apple Sauce. This coffee cake is a favorite for
