(My friend Linda Teichelmann said her sister finally got their Grandmother
to show them how to make it, but she didn't follow a recipe and didn't
measure anything.)
Mix yeast and water and shortening until dissolved. Add molasses and then
flour until right consistency. Let rise in a greased bowl until double in
size. Then kneed on a floured board, adding more flour if neccessary.
Divide dough into 3 equal part and place in greased loaf pans and let rise
again. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
