INSTRUCTIONS
Toss together oats, nuts, raisins or dates and bananas. Sprinkle with
cinnamon; toss again. Melt margarine and honey together; toss with dry
ingredients. Fold egg whites into mixture and press into a well greased 9 x
13-inch pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven; press
mixture down with a spatula. Cool slightly, then cut into bars. May be
wrapped individually in plastic wrap and stored in airtight container or
may be frozen. These bars were recommended for those on salt-free diet. Do
not cut too soon. Cut with sharp knife and sawing motion.
