INSTRUCTIONS
This is an unusual bread product using good old American chiles. I love
the flavor and the rolls do add a new dimension to a normal meal. No, they
are not hot!
Make the dough as in the "Sourdough French Bread" reicpe, adding two
4-ounce cans of Ortega-brand diced green chiles. Mix the chiles into the
batter just before you add the 6 cups of flour. Allow to rise and punch
down, just as with the bread, but shape into 24 small rolls rather than 2
loaves.
Bake as you would the bread, remembering that rolls take less time in the
oven.
