sauce and simmer for about 15 minutes.
When ready to serve, toast the buns and spread honey on the inside of each.
Spoon pork mixture onto the buns and serve.
Kitchen Staff Tip: For a great homemade Honey Barbecue Sauce, combine the
following ingredients in a large saucepan: 2 pints vinegar, 16 oz. ketchup,
16 oz. French or Western Salad Dressing, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 Tbs. lemon juice,
1 Tbs. ground red pepper, 1 Tbs. ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp. salt, and
1/2 cup honey. Simmer on low heat until the sauce is thick and creamy. As
an option, add 1 or 1/2 Tbs. liquid smoke during the last 30 minutes of
cooking.
