INSTRUCTIONS
Directions: Cook noodles as directed and drain. Brown chuck in butter,
breaking it up into small pieces. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
Stir in tomato sauce and remove from heat. Combine cream cheese, cottage
cheese, sour cream, onion, and green pepper. Mix well. Grease a 2-quart
casserole. Make bottom layer with 1/2 of the noodles. Cover with cream
cheese mixture. Spread with remaining noodles, pouring melted butter over
these and finish off with meat and tomato mixture. Heat in 350 oven for 20
minutes. If prepared a day ahead and refrigerated, bring to room
temperature and allow about 40-45 minutes before placing in oven. Serves 8.
