INSTRUCTIONS
Put sugar, butter & salt in large bowl. Scald milk & pour over these
ingredients & let stand until melted. Add egg & beat well. Dissolve yeast
in warm water & add to mixture. Beat in flour, 1 cup at a time until
thoroughly mixed. Cover & let rise about 2 hours. Place dough on
well-floured surface & add just enough flour to work dough without
sticking. Make into rolls & allow to rise 1-1/2 hours. Bake at 400 for
10-12 minutes or until golden. You may refrigerate dough right after first
rising & proceed later.
