INSTRUCTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, beat honey, butter and
orange zest with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
2. Stir in flour mixed with baking powder and salt until just blended,
scraping down side of bowl frequently with a rubber spatula. Fold in
walnuts.
3. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonsful 2- inches apart onto lightly greased
cookie sheets. Press slightly with floured back of teaspoon to flatten.
4. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cookies cool 2 minutes
on sheets, then remove to a rack and let cool completely. Store in a
tightly covered container.
NOTE: Be careful to mix these just until the flour has been moistened.
Overmixing can make them tough.
