INSTRUCTIONS

1. Heat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6. Place bananas on a baking sheet and
bake for 20-25 mins until the skins are completely blackened. Alternatively
place them on a barbeque after the first heat has died down. Cook for 10-15
mins, turning until the skins have blackened.
2. Place the bananas in individual dishes. Carefully split them down the
middle and place a scoop of ice cream on top of each one. Drizzle over the
maple or golden syrup and scatter the almonds on top. Serve at once.
