INSTRUCTIONS
The following is a different approach to serving hot buttered rum. It is
loaded with pure foods and calories! It does work well for a crowd and the
mix keeps well in the freezer. The amount can be easily cut in half by
purchasing a pint of ice cream instead of the quart.
Blend above ingredients in a mixer. Freeze in a covered container. At
serving time, for each serving, fill a mug about 3/4 full of HOT water; add
1 heaping tablespoon of the frozen mix and 1 ounce of rum. (Light or dark)
Stir well. I like it with a little more than 1 heaping tablespoon of mix
but it does depend on the size of the mug. This is nice when garnished with
a cinnamon stick and/or additional nutmeg. ENJOY!
