INGREDIENTS

1 pk (1-lb) oreo cookies
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Confectioner's sugar
3 Eggs; separated
2 qt Ice cream
1/2 c Margarine
1 c Chopped nuts
2 Squares semi-sweet chocolate
1/4 ts Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

Grind or roll out cookies. Line a 9x13-inch pan with some of the ground
cookies & save the rest for top. Mix in saucepan the sugar, chocolate,
margarine, egg yolks, vanilla & salt. Cook just to boiling. Cool. Beat egg
whites until stiff, add chopped nuts & fold into the cooled mixture. Spread
in pan on top of the cookie crumbs & freeze. After this is frozen, spread
with 2 quarts of softened ice cream & sprinkle with the remainder of the
cookie crumbs. Freeze.
