INSTRUCTIONS
Cook spinach according to package directions - drain, reserving liquid. Add
water to make l cup; set aside. Heat l tbsp. oil on medium high heat.
Sauté.beef, onions and garlic. When lightly brown, add spinach liquid,
spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer for l0 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350F. Combine spinach, macaroni, cheese, bread crumbs,
eggs, l/4 c. oil. Pour this mixture into a greased l3x9x2 inch baking dish
(I use two smaller round dishes in order to freeze one). Top with meat
sauce.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Yield l0-12 servings. Freezes well. One of my kids has an aversion to
anything green, but he still likes this! Paula in IL
