INSTRUCTIONS
This recipe is for jalapeno lemonade and came with the warning "If this
sweet, tart, wet, and wild cooler sits past 3 hours we are not responsible
for the damages. It will get powerfully hot." Well, I have a pitcher that
is 3 days old and is just now getting interesting. I think I will try some
with a hab or 2 and a serano for color.
Combine sugar and 1/2 cup water in small sauce pan. Simmer until sugar
dissolves and liquid is clear, about 3 minutes. Combine in pitcher with
remaining water, lemon juice, and sliced jalapenos. Stir and refrigerate 1
to 3 hours. Strain or serve with jalapenos.

I didn't think this would taste very good but it is really a great
refreshing drink. Especially after mowing the lawn on a hot afternoon or
after weeding the peppers. Posted to CHILE-HEADS DIGEST V3 #306 by Vince
