INSTRUCTIONS
This recipe was found in the personal papers of President Jefferson Davis
and was served for the Holidays at the Confederate White House. Mix all
ingredients and garnish with thin slices of lemon, orange, and cucumber
(with peel). If too strong, water may be added until the quantity reaches 5
gallons. Best made 24 hours ahead of time, add soda and ginger ale just
