INSTRUCTIONS
Workbasket Recipes: This article deals with candies. The issue is Spetember
1979.
Blend softened butter and condensed milk. Gradually add confectioners'
sugar until candy mixture becomes like a stiff pie dough, approximately 3
3/4 cups. (If using more than one color and flavoring, separate candy
mixture into individual bowls). Add desired flavoring (approximately 1/2
tsp for entire amount) and color a little at a time until desired shade is
reached. Roll into small balls, roll balls in granulated sugar. Press flat,
or place in Candy Mold and unmold at once. Candies freeze well. Makes 90
mints.

A Message from our Provider:
“We can do nothing, we say sometimes, we can only pray. That, we feel, is a terribly precarious second-best. So long as we can fuss and work and rush about, so long as we can lend a hand, we have some hope; but if we have to fall back upon God — ah, then things must be critical indeed! #A.J. Gossip”
