INSTRUCTIONS
)
In 1 gallon water, boil malt, golden syrup, sugar and 1-1/2 ounce hops
for 8 minutes. Add remaining hops and boil another 2 minutes. Pour into
primary fermenter with 2 gallons water. Bring another gallon of water to a
boil and add flaked maize. Turn off heat and 1/3 pack of BrewMagic. Let
sit 10 minutes. Add another 1/3 pack of BrewMagic. Let sit 10 more
minutes. Strain maize into primary fermenter, and rinse with cold water.
Discard maize. Fill primary to 5 gallon mark. This recipe comes from Craig
McTyre at Wine & Brew By You. The Lyle's syrup is available in many
grocery stores, usually located near the pancake syrup. BrewMagic is
some sort of yeast nutrient/additive. It is available from Wine & Brew By
You. Original Gravity: 1.090 Final Gravity: 1.015
