Grains Indian Western ind, Chutney, Indian 6 Servings

INGREDIENTS

5 Cloves garlic; 5-6, sliced
1 c Coconut shreds; unsweetened
1 tb Cumin seed; whole
3 Red chiles; 3-4, dried
2 tb Sesame seeds
2 tb Tamarind pulp; seedless
1/4 c Peanuts; unsalted
1/2 ts Salt; or to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Roast all of the above ingredients independently with the exception of the
salt in a dry skillet until they turn reddish brown in color. Grind them in
a coffee mill and serve either dry as a condiment or serve with ghee.
