Pittsburgh Salad 6 Servings

INGREDIENTS

2 Cloves garlic; pressed
1 c Salad oil
1 1/2 c Wine vinegar
Salt & pepper to taste
6 Bunches leaf lettuce; washed & torn into bite size pieces
1 Purple onion; sliced
3 Tomatoes; cut into quarters

INSTRUCTIONS

Put first 4 ingredients into large wooden salad bowl and beat with a wire
whisk. Combine dressing with lettuce and onions. Serve on chilled plates,
garnished with tomato quarters.
