INGREDIENTS

1 c Sugar
1/3 c Butter; melted
1 tb Lemon extract
2 lg Eggs
1 1/2 c All purpose flour
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1/3 c Milk
1/3 c Pecans; chopped
Grated rind of a lemon

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350° F. Beat together sugar, butter and lemon extract for
one minute. Beat in eggs (one at a time). Add flour, baking powder and
salt. Add milk while beating mixture. Fold in lemon rind and nuts. Pour
into greased bread pan. Bake in oven at 350° F. for 60 minutes. Lemon Glaze
Ingredients 1/3 cup sugar 1/3 cup lemon juice, fresh squeezed Very simple.
Mix together. Pour on bread or anything when hot. Or warm in sauce pan. Let
cool a little and drizzle with lemon glaze while bread is still warm.
