INGREDIENTS

2 c Cooked and drained lentils
1 c Whole wheat bread crumbs
1/2 c Wheat germ
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 Onion, grated
1/2 ts Celery seeds
Whole wheat flour for
Coating
3 tb Vegetable oil

INSTRUCTIONS

1.  Mash the lentils slightly.  Add the bread crumbs, wheat germ, salt,
onion, and celery seeds.  Mix well. 2. Form the mixture into 8 patties.
Coat with flour. 3. Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the patties on both
sides until
browned.
