INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cook the pasta following the instructions on the pack.
2. Meanwhile, heat the oil and add the garlic, tomatoes, tomato puree,
cayenne pepper, sugar and seasoning.
3. Simmer gently, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes until the sauce has
thickened slightly.
4. Tear the basil leaves into small pieces and stir into the tomato sauce
with the cooked, drained pasta. Serve immediately. This recipe is also
delicious with diced cooked chicken, crispy grilled bacon or a few prawns
stirred into the sauce just before serving - for those who are not
