INGREDIENTS

4 Bacon, cut into 1-inch

1 Onion, chopped about 1/2

1 Green bell pepper, chopped

1 Uncooked elbow, 7 ounces
Macaroni
1 Condensed, 10-3/4 ounces
Tomato soup
1 3/4 c Hot water
2 c Shredded american or colby
Cheese, 8 ounces
Buttered bread crumbs or
cracker
Crumbs, if desired

INSTRUCTIONS

Place bacon in 3-quart casserole. Cover loosely and microwave on high
4 to 5 minutes or until crisp. Stir in onion, bell pepper, macaroni,
soup and water. 2. Cover tightly and microwave 14 to 16 minutes,
stirring every 4 minutes, until macaroni is tender. Stir in cheese
until melted. Top with bread crumbs. 4 SERVINGS (ABOUT 1-1/4 CUPS
EACH); 640 CALORIES PER SERVING. * 500-watt microwave: You may need  to
