INGREDIENTS

3 cn Maine sardines; (3 3/4 or 4 oz. each)
1/2 c Butter or margarine; softened
2 tb Prepared mustard
10 sl Sandwich bread
Pimiento strips

INSTRUCTIONS

Drain sardines and split in half lengthwise. Combine butter and mustard.
Spread bread with mustard-butter. Remove crusts. Cut each slice of bread
into thirds. Place a sardine half on each piece of bread. Garnish with
pimento strips. Yields: 30 canape's
