INSTRUCTIONS
4 TO 6 SERVINGS DAIRY-FREE
Figs are one of the sweetest fruits. Marinated in juice, they produce a
dish of elegant simplicity. Although this recipe takes only a few minutes
to prepare, it needs to marinate for at least 8 hours for the flavors to
develop.
COMBINE FIGS, raisins and apple juice in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil
and simmer for just 1 minute. Remove from heat and add lemon juice.
Transfer to a bowl and let cool. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for
at least 8 hours before serving.
PER SERVING: 179 CAL.; 2G FReT.; iG TOTAL FAT (0 SAT. FAT); 46G CARB.; 0
