INSTRUCTIONS
(Betty Crocker's Cookbook)
In a large bowl combine egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, mustard,
pepper, sage and garlic powder; mix well. Add onion, ground beef and bread
crumbs; mix together well. Spread mixture in ungreased loaf pan,
8-1/2x4-1/2x2-1/2 or 9x5x3 inches, or shape into loaf in ungreased
rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches. Spoon catsup over top. Bake uncovered in
350 degree oven until done, 1 to 1-1/4 hours. Remove from pan. Let rest 4
to 5 minutes before slicing.
Makes 6 servings.
Note: My wife likes this one better than any of the others that I make.
