INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1 Garlic clove, minced
1 Egg, beaten lightly
3 T Oil
3/4 c Dried bread crumbs
3 T Parsley, minced
1/4 t Pepper freshly ground
1 1/2 T Basil, crumbled

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine the beef, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, basil, egg, and
pepper Mix thoroughly and shape into balls 1 inch in diameter. Melt
the oil in a saucepan. Brown the meatballs lightly on all sides;  drain
off the fat. Add tomato sauce, cover, and simmer 40 minutes.  Serve
over spaghetti.  Per serving: 214 Calories (kcal); 19g Total Fat; (80%
