INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Lightly grase two or more baking sheets. Using
an electric mixer, beat the egg whites in a med bowl until foamy. Add the
salt and cream of tartar and continue beating until soft peaks form. Add
the sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, beating well after each addition. Continue
beating until the meringue is stiff. Fold in the vanilla extract, chocolate
chips, nuts and candy. Drop by tspful 1/2 inch apart, onto the prepared
baking sheet. Bake 40 mins. Remove to a cake rack to cool. May be prepared
ahead and frozen. Makes 5 dozen Note these are as pretty as they sound!
