INGREDIENTS

8 Cloves garlic; crushed, (up to 10)
6 tb Unsalted butter
3 tb Olive oil
1/3 c Grated Parmesan cheese
1 ts Dried basil; (or 2 to 3 fresh
; leaves, shredded)
1 ts Dried oregano
1 ts Crushed fennel seed
Salt to taste
1 lg Crusty French bread loaf

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine garlic, butter, oil, cheese and seasonings and blend well. This can
be done up to a few days in advance to intensify flavor. Slice bread in
half lengthwise and spread mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 10
minutes, or till top is almost brown.
