INSTRUCTIONS
FOR THE LOAF
TO DECORATE
Mix the cereal, sugar, honey and fruit in a bowl. Stir in the milk and
leave to soak for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180 C, 350 F, Gas Mark 4.
Lightly oil a 900g (2lb) loaf tin and line the base with greaseproof paper.
Sift the flour over the bran mixture and fold in. Spoon into the prepared
tin and bake for 1-1 1/2 hours or until firm to the touch.
Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the tin, then turn out onto a
cooling rack and leave to cool completely.
Brush the top with honey and decorate with more fruit.
